Wurzeralm
With the funicular railway, it takes about 4 minutes to reach the Wurzeralm, located at an average altitude of 1,400 meters above sea level. Once at the top, you are greeted with a breathtaking view of the Warscheneck. The alpine area offers many hiking trails. Highly recommended is the circular hiking route "2 Million Years in 2 Hours," which includes a detour to the Brunnsteiner Mountain Lake at the foot of the Warscheneck. The circular route takes you through two high moors, past bizarre root formations, across wet meadows with stunning flora, and through alpine pastures along safe hiking trails.
